My name is Vaggelis Kappas and I’m working in IT industry since 1998. Currently, I’m holding the role of Azure Infrastructure Specialist at Microsoft, where I help the enterprise customers of Central & Eastern Europe, to accelerate digital transformation and realize benefits through the adaption of Azure technologies.
I’m focused on technologies such as Private and Public Cloud based on Microsoft Virtualization, System Center and Azure and I’m experienced with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Storage, Networking, System Center, Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
Before joining Microsoft, I was working as a Systems Engineer and Cloud Solutions Architect, and I was constantly engaged by large organizations to help them, on the successful implementation of big and complex IT projects.
I’m intellectual curious and I have a deep and persistent desire to know about everything new and innovative, while I’m get excited to face all the challenges that comes with large and complex IT projects.
During the past 20 years, I have been working regularly with the technical communities of IT professionals and Cloud enthusiasts as a member and speaker, where I’m sharing my views, experience and knowledge. This was the reason I was awarded the Microsoft MVP at 2014 on Cloud and Datacenter Management.
